La hipersensibilidad dentinaria es una condición de salud bucal creciente. Suele ser un problema complejo de naturaleza multifactorial que afecta la calidad de vida de los pacientes y que representa un reto para el profesional desde el punto de vista diagnóstico, asi como su manejo terapéutico en el consultorio dental día a día.Propósito: Se expondrán los factores de riesgo y factores predisponentes relacionados con mayor frecuencia con el desarrollo y progresión de la hipersensibilidad dentinaria, asi como sus alternativas de tratamiento más comunes.

Professor at Auton. U. of San Luis Potosi and owns a private practice. He received his DDS degree at Auton. U. of San Luis Potosi and M.S. in Periodontology at Auton. U. of Nuevo Leon. In 2010, Dr. Cepeda was member of the directive assembly for the Teacher Council at Auton. U. of San Luis Potosi, the President of the Dental Association of San Luis Potosi, and a consultant for Colgate’s Global Toothbrush Expert Advisory Board.
