Dr Michael Foley is the Director of Research and Advocacy for a large public sector dental service in Brisbane, Australia. He chairs the Australian Dental Association’s Oral Health Committee, and is a past ADA President in his home state of Queensland. He holds Masters degrees in Public Health and Epidemiology, and is currently studying for a PhD in dental public health. Dr Foley lectures frequently on water fluoridation and evidence-based dentistry. He is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, Pierre Fauchard Academy, and Academy of Dentistry International.
