Evaluation of Clinical Skills: Can we improve Reliability and Validity using an Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE)?

This virtual workshop will begin with a discussion of the challenges associated with obtaining valid and reliable clinical evaluation in dentistry. The advantages and limitations of patient-based examinations, manikin tests, daily grades and case-based examinations to evaluate clinical skills will be reviewed. Participants will then learn how to develop OSCE stations that can contribute to clinical evaluation in their content area.   FEE: FREE to Dental Faculty  in US and Canada.
