Caries Prevention and Management in Practice

This presentation will provide an overview of the International Caries Classification and Management System (ICCMS™) and how it helps deliver Modern Caries Management in Practice.

It will examine caries as a disease continuum and share a framework to: a) evaluate Caries Risk at the patient-level, b) undertake caries Classification (staging and activity assessment), c) enable rational Decision Making (synthesis and diagnosis), leading to d) personalised Caries Management plans (comprising: caries prevention, control and Tooth Preserving Operative Care - TPOC).
