This presentation will review the anatomical structure & its limitations, technical & design aspects of implants, hygiene methods that affect the outcome of oral implant therapy in patients. Addressing anatomical limita-tions with grafts and graftless solutions to tackle deficiencies in the quanti-ty of bone will form the introductory content. Use of advanced diagnostic and planning methodologies, adequate engineering, appropriate design and construction of the prosthesis to achieve adequate treatment out-comes would be discussed. Strong emphasis on post treatment care & recall and tips to replicate these steps in any clinical practice would be highlighted.
Learning Objective: The attendee will be able to evaluate the anatomical considerations, diagnostic importance and hierarchy, implant configuration and prosthetic design and hygiene requirements that are inherently a part of modern implant dentistry. This presentation will enable a clinician to consider points critically relevant to implant treatment success that are routinely employable in a day to day dental practice
