Nutrition – The Healthy Plate

This presentation will discuss basic nutrition recommendations that can be incorporated into daily practice.
The discussion will include an overview of the 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans. We will examine USDA’s MyPlate, how it aids in portion control and the various applications for use. Suggestions for integration of MyPlate as an educational tool in clinical practice will be discussed.
