JoAnn Gurenlian, RDH, MS, PhD, is Professor and Graduate Program Director of the Department of Dental Hygiene at Idaho State University. She is the Past President of the International Federation of Dental Hygiene and the American Dental Hygienists? Association. Dr. Gurenlian is the co-author of the textbook ?Preventing Medical Emergencies? and author of over 260 publications in dental hygiene, dental and medical journals. She has conducted over 570 presentations at regional, national and international events. Dr. Gurenlian was awarded affiliate fellow status in the American Academy of Oral Medicine in 2019.
