He is a dental educator, mentor, clinician who is committed to excellence in over-all well-being of patients, as well as mentoring professional dental students in all aspects of clinical dentistry and practice management in a patient-centric practice.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Medical Microbiology, with a minor in Chemistry from California State University, Long Beach, graduating with high honors. He earned a Doctoral of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), School of Dentistry, and he continued his advanced training by completing Advanced Education in General Dentistry from the University of California, Los Angeles. He also earned a Master’s in Health Administration (MHA) from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). His commitment to life-long learning has earned him a Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD).
He is member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the American Dental education Academy (ADEA), Texas Dental Association (TDA) and the Greater Houston Dental Society (GHDS). He is Fellow of Pierre Fauchard Academy (FPFA), Fellow of American College of Dentists (FACD), and Fellow of International College of Dentists (FICD).
He is an active member of organized dentistry and has served at multiple executive board positions at the national, state, and local level.
