The Power Of A Smile Challenge: Providing Preventative Care to a Medically Complex Patient

Ken He is a third-year dental student at the University of Toronto and previously completed his Bachelor of Science at Queen’s University. After conducting research in the Indigenous communities of the Canadian Territories during his undergrad, he observed how the lack of access to dental care to these populations negatively impacted their quality of life. Thus, he decided to pursue dentistry in hopes to provide comprehensive care to marginalised and underserved populations in the future. During his free time, he likes to travel, hike, and camp in the Canadian Rockies.
