This webinar is Part 1 of a three-part series that will utilize simulated emergencies and videos to promote the determination of the correct emergency diagnosis and the proper treatment procedures to be rendered by the dental professional in the event that an emergency should arise. Part 1 will focus on how to take vital signs, essential elements in a medical emergency kit, and conducting simulated emergencies. In addition, common medical emergencies in the dental office will be introduced, including syncope, hyperventilation and cardiac emergencies.
