Each team member can effectively contribute to the practice within their own leadership role. The skillsets needed by healthcare clinicians are becoming more complex each new decade. All members of the dental practice should be exposed to leadership training, including the dental hygienist. This interactive discussion will empower dental hygienists to step into their leadership role as they support and protect the communities they serve.
Participants will learn:
- Identify the critical role leadership plays in the longevity & productivity of a dental practice.
- Determine effective strategies to implement in clinical practice that will support the vision & mission of the practice while upholding our ethical duties.
- Explain the importance of leadership development to the profession of dental hygiene.
