Covid-19 Related Signs and Symptoms in the Dental Patient

Many patients present with a wide spectrum of symptoms after being diagnosed with acute Covid-19. In this course, dental providers and members of the dental health care team will learn about the oral and systemic implications of Long Haulers Syndrome. In addition, specific oral pathology that may present in these patients will also be discussed.

Participants will learn:

  • How to recognize the oral implications and signs/symptoms of Long Haulers Syndrome
  • How to manage and treat a patient with Covid Long Haulers
  • How to coordinate patient care with physicians and members of the health care team

Dr. Gargi Mukherji graduated from Texas A & M University College of Dentistry (Baylor College of Dentistry) in Dallas, Texas. She then completed a one year general practice hospital residency program at UTHealth School of Dentistry at Houston.
