Pediatric Oral Pathology: An overview of diagnosis and management

This webinar will provide an overview of Pediatric Oral Pathology from infancy to early childhood with an emphasis on diagnosis and management of common oral conditions. The patient examination and consultation process will be briefly reviewed in the context of developing a structured diagnostic method to facilitate the formulation of a differential then final diagnosis with an appropriate treatment plan.

COVID-19 and oral cavity

During this webinar the presenters we show their protocol for oral management of COVID-19 patients, emphasizing the importance of oral lesions diagnosis and treatment. Whether oral lesions can be derived from the direct virus action on the oral mucosa or derived from the systemic condition of the patient will be addressed. This presentation will discuss the most frequent oral lesions presented in COVID-19 patients, how to diagnose and treat these, and the clinical significance of the possible SARS-CoV-2 action in the oral cavity.
