Asthma and Oral Health – What are the issues?
This presentation reviews asthma’s effects on oral health. It then explores the role of the dental practitioner in educating asthmatic patients about their higher risk of developing oral diseases and conditions, and provides information on how to best tailor oral hygiene instruction to meet the needs of patients with asthma.
